We invite families of middle school music students to attend all of our concerts, but especially our Winter Concert because it will be a great opportunity for you to experience the TPHS music program before making your high school selection!!

Announcing TPHS Music Summer Camps 2025!!!

We are excited to announce that the Music Department will be offering three summer camps for summer 2025!

​

Youth Orchestra Camp

June 9-12, 2025

8:30 am-12:00 M-Thur

5th-9th grade

$175/camper

Requirements: at least 2 years of experience playing and access to an instrument

​

High School Jazz Clinic

June 16-19, 2025

9 am -1 pm M-Thur

9th-12th grade

$225/camper

Requirements: at least 3 years of experience playing and access to an instrument

​

Youth Band Camp

July 14-17

8:30 am - 12:00  M-Thur

5th - 9th grade

$175/camper

Requirements: at least 2 years of experience playing and access to an instrument

All camps will be led by our music director, Amy Gelb. These camps will be a fun and enriching experience for the students. Have fun playing and learning with new friends. Camp registration will take place in early February through the TPHS Foundation. Check back to this page for more detailed information about the camps and how to register. Space is limited, so make sure to register early!!

Donate to Torrey Pines Music

Donations are essential to the music program at Torrey Pines.  The program gets no funding from the district other than teacher salary, yet music programs are very expensive to run.  We rely on donations to cover the costs of coaching, sheet music, instruments, equipment, transportation, festival registration fees, and other expenses. We ask all music parents to make a donation to support the program. Your support is greatly appreciated.

 

Donate online at Torrey Pines High School Foundation. Select Donation to TPHS Music, enter amount, contact info and payment info.

You can also donate by check payable to TPHSF (TPHS Foundation), and write Music Donation in the memo line. Place checks in the Music Boosters box in the Administration Building.

​

All donations are tax deductible. You will receive a receipt from the TPHS Foundation for your tax records.

​

Our goal is 100% participation. Donations in any amount are greatly appreciated!
